Meet Michael “Serious MAK” Kover

BIO

Serious MAK (Born Michael A Kover, 1987) Born and raised in Olympia, WA. Mak currently resides in Columbus, Georgia where he is branding his image and gaining more potential growth.

Michael Kover was placed into the foster care system at the age of 7 where he began his journey of a self-struggling life. Michael was so lost and confused, getting into trouble, fighting with other foster kids and getting suspended from elementary schools. He learned in counseling that if you write your feelings down on paper if might have an impact to make you feel better on some days. At 8 years old Michael began writing journals of feelings to express his emotions.
He started to come up with words that suddenly turned into rhymes and then into rap bars. After he discovered he could rap out loud and gain the attention of his friends and classmates. Michael started to think of stage names for himself. About 20 names later one stuck in his mind and we now know him to this day as Serious MAK.
Serious MAK was created by Michael Allen Kover. If you didn’t catch that, he used his initials. Pretty Clever huh?

Musically talented and blessed with a great voice and energy for hip-hop, Serious MAK challenges himself by incorporating different genres into his tracks. He has developed a skilled rhythm with words, gaining public awareness while staying positive through shows, tours, events, both in and out of the studio.
